Xiaoyu Liu is a multidisciplinary designer and artist based in the U.S., passionate about exploring how technology, art, and design can shape human experience.

Known for integrating empathy, systems logic, and cultural sensitivity, Xiaoyu’s work spans digital design and artistic exploration, revealing how design can bridge emotion and utility, technology and humanity.

She has designed end-to-end digital experiences for The Farmer’s Dog, Google, Cox Communications, and Dotdash Meredith—crafting intuitive, data-informed experiences that connect people and systems.

Holding an MFA in Design & Technology from Parsons School of Design, Xiaoyu’s creative practice extends beyond digital design—through installation, writing, artist book, video and sound, she reflects on time, sensory perception, the existential concept of death, and the intricate relationship between individuals and their environment. Her work has been exhibited at institutions such as the CICA Museum, Center for the Visual Arts, The Research House for Asian Art, NYC Media Lab, Maker Faire and beyond.
